This mask is handmade and part of a ongoing experimental series called "101 WAYS I SEE YOU"
EUDLICA is a name of Latin origin meaning protectress of children. When I was creating this piece I felt the carefree playfulness of a child and the need to gently protect it while the clay created its own whimsy. There's an inside out quality to her that shows both her strength and innocence. She’s made from high fire stoneware and was dipped twice in nutmeg glaze.
